Nansemond County } State of Virginia, to wit } This day came before me Wm. Sumner a Justice of the Peace for the County aforesaid, Henry Harrison Esq. presiding Justice for the County of Nansemond, aged 77 years, who being duly sworn, deposeth and sayeth that he was well acquainted with Timothy Langston of the aforesaid County and State, who was a soldier in the War of the Revolution, that the said Langston enlisted in the Continental Service for three years and served out the term of enlistment, at the expiration of which term he again entered the army and served to the end of the war. Given under my hand and seal the 14th day of June as a Justice of the Peace for the County aforesaid, this 14th day of June 1833. {signed} Wm: Sumner

John Langstun, Welthana (sic) March, James Boyett, David S. Mettere,

deceased, who was a soldier in the revolutionary war, upon the evidence
of Elijah Jones, sworn in Court.
