. . . John F. Shank's ancestors have changed.

• I know how difficult it can be to put together families, especially when the children are in the pre-1850 censuses. It is very easy to make mistakes.
• In Indiana Co., PA, a John Charles Shank, a s/o Charles and Susanna Shank, had a son, John, born about 1855. The 1860 census shows this family, the son, John is 4 years old.
• A person doing this research was not aware that in Center Co., PA, there is another John Shank, age 4. It is this John Shank, who is John F. Shank, born February 25, 1855. This John F. Shank is John Farro Shank, a s/o Samuel Shank and Anna Fetzer.
• A direct descendant of John F. Shank has contacted me and informed me of the error. Rachelle Shank LeBrilla has the genealogy of her family, which was done by her grandfather many years ago.
