Tyler ... king of the castle
Tyler is our five year old who has always been our talkative socialite and fearless performer. He recently sang a tear-jerking solo of "Silent Night" during his preschool's Christmas program, while also serving as a Wise Man during the Nativity scene (see photo, right). He is also INTO sports! He and his soccer team, the Dragons, just completed the season with a win against the parents. He is so proud of his participation trophy! Some of Tyler's favorite activities are watching Arthur on PBS, eating mint chocolate chip ice cream or candy canes, and playing with his computer games (he loves Monster Truck Madness!). Tyler also is a budding artist who often spends a half-hour or more absorbed in drawing people and race cars, and sketching out computer games he may someday design.

Melissa, 9 1/2, is having a great year in Mrs. Ronca's fourth grade. Outside of school, she loves athletics, just like her brother. Games start soon for her basketball team, The Rockers. Melissa recently completed a season of soccer on the Purple Piranhas, which emerged No. 1 for her age group. She enjoys inline skating; reading mysteries, or anything to do with Star Wars or space exploration; designing web pages, posters or brochures on the computer; or listening to Hanson music as loud as she is allowed. Speaking of Hanson, the whole family recently got to see and hear the boys up close during a concert at the O-rena. As for the future, Melissa says she wants to design and fly space craft for a living, and has even picked out the college she wants to attend to reach that goal! North Carolina, the "second home" of Bob and Cindi since their honeymoon almost 14 years ago, is now loved by the kids as much as Mom and Dad. At right is a photo from the last visit. Back at home, Bob, who is forever planning for the next vacation, has his sights set on a spring family vacation he just booked aboard the Disney Magic cruise liner. Bob's other interests include upgrading the computer; cruising the Web; or spinning, playing basketball or lifting free weights at the gym. Cindi keeps busy serving as the kids' chauffeur, doing writing or publishing work on the computer, helping out at Melissa's school, working out, or studying up on web page design.
