Stanley P. Brinkman , 90, of Covington, died at 3:25 a.m. Wednesday at Rosedale Manor, Latonia. He was a manager of the bowling alley at the Latonia American Legion post. His wife, Anna C. Wagner Brinkman, and a son, Jerry Brinkman, both preceded him in death. Survivors include daughters, Lois Rolfson and Margie Kennedy, both of Fort Wright; a brother, Justin Brinkman of Florida; sisters, Margaret Tranter of Burlington and Ethel Harlow of Covington; 12 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren. Mass of Christian burial will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday at St. Agnes Church, Fort Wright. Visitation will begin there at 10 a.m. Friday. Burial will be in St. John Cemetery, Fort Mitchell. Memorials are suggested to the charity of the donor's choice. Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Covington, is handling arrangements.

Bernadette Deavy, 91, of Fort Thomas, died at 3:03 a.m. Friday at Carmel Manor Nursing Home, Fort Thomas. She was a homemaker and a member of the St. Therese Altar Society and Daughters of Isabella. Her husband, Bernard Patrick Deavy, and a son, John Deavy, both preceded her in death. Survivors include a son, Michael P. Deavy of Independence; daughters, Mary Ann Broering of Fort Thomas and Elaine Fite of Cold Spring; sisters, Irma Gausepohl of Fort Wright and Thelma Lear of Fort Thomas; nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Mass of Christian burial will be at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at St. Therese Church, Southgate. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Muehlenkamp-Erschell Funeral Home, Fort Thomas. Burial will be in St. Stephen Cemetery, Fort Thomas. Margaret Mary Brinkman Tranter, 88, of Covington, died at 2:30 a.m. Saturday at Woodspoint Nursing Home, Florence She was a homemaker. Her husband, Edwin W. Tranter, died in 1998. Survivors include a son, Ed Tranter of Erlanger; a daughter, Sharon Blasingame of Covington; a brother, Justin Brinkman of Bonita Springs, Fla.; a sister, Ethel Harlow of Covington; seven grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. W. Edwin Tranter Sr., 90, of Covington, died at 9:45 a.m. Friday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center North Hospice, Covington. He was the retired owner and operator of Charlie and Ed's Liquor Store, formerly at 9th and Main streets, Covington. He was a member of the Northern Kentucky Sports Hall of Fame. Survivors include his wife, Margaret M. Brinkman Tranter; a son, Ed Tranter Jr. of Erlanger; a daughter, Sharon A. Blasingame of Covington; sisters, Helen A. Fichlie and A. Augusta Schultz, both of Covington, and Winifred E. Schroder of Ft. Mitchell; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
