Kathryn Grace Grady Ireland , 84, of Edgewood, died at 4:04 a.m. Friday at her home. She was a retired waitress for Summit Hills Country Club and a member of Northern Kentucky Chapter of Ladies Ancient Order of Hiberninas. Her husband, Emmett F. Ireland, died in 1978. Survivors include sons, Michael Ireland of Florence, Patrick Ireland of Grafton, Mass., Emmett F. Ireland Jr. of Fort Mitchell, John Ireland of Santa Fe, N.M., and Joseph Ireland of Cordova; brothers, William Grady of Edgewood and Neal Grady of Crescent Springs; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Pius X Church, Edgewood, with visitation from 9:30. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Fort Mitchell. Memorials are suggested to Maryknoll Fathers, 6930 Greenfield Drive, Finneytown, Ohio 45224. Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Erlanger, is in charge.

Emmett F. Ireland , 56, of Fort Mitchell, died at 5:40 a.m. Thursday at St. Elizabeth Hospice Unit, Covington. He was owner of the Saddle Club, Fort Mitchell. Survivors include his wife, Linda L. Ireland; a son, Emmett P. Ireland of Fort Mitch ell; a daughter, Megan K. Ireland of Fort Mitchell; and brothers, Michael E. Ireland of Florence, Patrick J. Ireland of Grafton, Mass., John E. Ireland of Santa Fe, N.M., and Joseph W. Ireland of Cordova. Mass of Christian burial will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Blessed Sacrament Church, Fort Mitchell. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Fort Mitchell. Memorials are suggested to St. Elizabeth Hospice Unit, 401 E. 20th St., Covington, Ky. 41014. Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Covington, is handling arrangements.

Jack Switzer , 45, of Burlington, died at 11:55 a.m. Tuesday at his home. He was a plumber with C. L. Newby Co., Florence. Survivors include a son, Brian K. Switzer of Florence; his mother, Zelda Switzer of Burlington; a brother, Kevin Switzer of Inverness, Fla.; sisters, Darlene Peddicord of Burlington and Karen Dalton of Demossville; and two grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Berean Baptist Church, Independence. Cremation will be at Hillside Chapel, Cincinnati. Don Catchen and Son Funeral Home, Elsmere, is handling arrangements.

Zelda M. Switzer, 78, of Florence, died Sunday at Florence Park Care Center, Florence. She was a wire technician with Post-Glover Electric Co. and a member of Lakeside Auxiliary of Ralph Fulton VFW Post No. 6423, Elsmere. A son, John Switzer, died in 1997. Survivors include daughters, Darlene Peddicord of Burlington and Karen Mayfield of Independence; a son, Kevin Switzer of Inverness, Fla.; a brother, John Hughes of Florence; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Linnemann Funeral Home, Burlington. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Dry Ridge.
