Arsenault, Vol 2, page 431 says he arrived in Acadia around 1636 with
his father and mother, maternal uncle (Jehan Poirier) and his
brother-in-law (Jerome Guerin). In the 1678 census, he was enumerated
with his wife and Guillaume Blanchard and Huguette Gougeon with three
younger children (presumably theirs) living on six acres with 17 cattle
and one gun.
In the 1678 census, she is enumerated living with Jean Blanchard,
Guilleaume Blanchard, and Huguette Gougeon with three other children
(two boys and a girl) on six acres with 17 cattle and one gun.
