He arrived in Acadia around 1636, accompanied by his wife, Huguette
Poirier, his son Jean (born in 1611), his brother-in-law, Jehan Poirier,
and his son-in-law, Jerome Guerin (Arsenault, Histoire et Genealogie des
Acadiens, Vol 2, page 431).
