JULY REPORTS
Sunday, July 2, 2000 -- We thank the Lord for another good week at Landmark MBM. Forty-one were present for Sunday School today, and 55 attended the Morning Worship services. There were ELEVEN first time visitors! We were blessed to baptize the lady who came on a profession of faith last week. We are getting anxious to see the start of our building project. Please pray for us in this. As always, we thank you all for your faithful support of this work.
Sunday, July 9, 2000 -- The Lord blessed with another addition today at Landmark. Forty-one were present for Sunday School, and forty-three attended the Morning Worship. There was a total of six first time visitors in both the morning and evening services. In the evening service a young woman came forward professing her faith in Jesus Christ and desiring to be baptized and join the mission. We can only thank the Lord for His wonderful blessings. We thank you for your faithful support in both prayers and finances. May God richly bless you all.
Sunday, July 16, 2000 -- Wow! What a day! Our hearts were blessed as 51 attended Sunday School and 55 were present for the Morning Worship services. We had one first time visitor. In the Evening Worship services we were privileged to baptize the young woman who came forward last Sunday night. That was a blessing. However, the Lord also blessed with two more additions in the evening services where we had a total of SIXTY-ONE present. We serve a mighty and wonderful God. As far as our new building goes, the concrete man is setting forms and will dig the footing this week, and we should have temporary electrical power for construction in a couple of days. The mission members are getting more and more excited at seeing actual physical work on the new building get underway. How we thank God for His goodness and you for your prayers and financial support! May God bless you in your labors.
Sunday, July 23, 2000 -- Although attendance was down a little, we rejoice in the fact that the young man who came on a profession of faith last week was baptized. Forty people attended Sunday School, and forty-two were present for the Morning Worship. There was one first time visitor.
Nineteen adults and young people from Landmark will attend church camp this week at the Budd Creek Camp in central Arkansas. Please pray for these as they travel and as they attend this week of camp.
Work on our new building is due to begin with the pouring of the foundation very soon. Currently we are waiting on the concrete man to dig the footing and set the forms. We ask for your prayers in this endeavor. Also, we thank you and pray for God's blessings upon you for your faithfulness in supporting this work through your prayers and your finances.
Sunday July 30, 2000 -- Forty-three were present for Sunday School, and forty-six attended the Morning Worship services. The Lord blessed once again today with FOUR ADDITIONS! All of these came on profession of faith and seeking Scriptural baptism. Two of these were saved this past week at Budd Creek Camp where we had 28 professions of faith, three of which were from Landmark. We acknowledge our God as the source of these blessings and give all praise to Him. We thank you for your faithful support in prayers and finances and seek the Lord's richest blessings upon you all.
1999 REPORTS
Sunday, July 4, 1999 -- Although Sunday came on the Fourth of July this year, it didn't seem to affect our attendance like it could have. Nineteen were present for Sunday School, with 26 attending the Morning Worship service. We thank God for this great nation in which we are privileged to live. And, what better day to celebrate our independence as a nation than on the first day of the week, the day of our Lord's resurrection! We thank each one of you for your prayerful and financial support. Please continue to remember us, and may God richly bless you.
Sunday, July 11, 1999 -- Even though summer vacations have taken some away from us for a time, our attendance remains relatively good. Fifteen were present for Sunday School today, with 23 attendning the Morning Worship. Last night (the 10th) we hosted the First Union Youth Rally. The secretary reported a total of 88 in attendance. Following the Youth Rally, we enjoyed a good time of fellowship with the brethren from our sister churches. Please continue to pray for us as we look forward to our Vacation Bible School and Revival Services in the month of August. As always, we thank you for your faithful support.
Sunday, July 18, 1999 -- Fifteen were present for Sunday School and 25 for the Morning Worship services today at Landmark MBM. There was also one first time visitor present. The work at Hope continues to progress, although slowly, but we knew from the start that this would be the case. We appreciate your faithfulness to support and pray for us in this work. We pray for God's blessings upon you in the work of supporting missions.
Sunday, July 25, 1999 -- Bro. Fulmer reports attendances of 14 for Sunday School and 19 for the Morning Worship for this week at Landmark MBM. The summer vacation period has affected attendance number, but Bro. Pat is not discouraged. He continues to visit and to witness for the Lord. Please continue to pray for him in his efforts. We thank you for your prayers and for your financial support. May God richly bless you in your support of missions.
1998 REPORTS
Sunday, July 5 -- As always, our Sunday afternoon services were good, with good fellowship. We continue to appreciate those who come over from Bethel on Sunday afternoons to be a part of the services. This helps keep the attendance up and encourages the mission members. We also appreciate the job Bro. Mike Crane continues to do on Sunday mornings. We know the work has been difficult as he has continued his jail and prison ministry during this time, but we thank God for his willingness to serve. Now, we look forward to Bro. Fulmer moving on the field and pray that God will use him greatly to once again establish a strong, self-supporting New Testament church in Hope. We thank each one for their financial and prayerful support -- especially during this time that we have been searching for a missionary. Please continue to pray for the Fulmers and for Landmark MBM.
Sunday, July 12 -- We continue to have a good spirit in the services at Landmark MBM. The mission members anxiously await the arrival of Bro. Fulmer. We anticipate great things happening once he gets on the field. Please pray that God will help him to get the "loose ends" wrapped up in Alabama so he can be with us very soon. Also, please pray for him (and us) as he and his family come to look for housing in Hope -- that God will again provide as He has done in the past. We thank Him for His mercy and for His grace in watching over this work and in providing a man to work with us. Also, we thank you for your continued support -- both in prayers and finances. May God truly bless each one who is having a part in this mission endeavor.
Sunday, July 19 -- Once again we were blessed with good services at Landmark MBM. Some more of the members of Bethel MBC in Ashdown attended the afternoon worship as well as one first time visitor. This lady walked from downtown Hope out to the mission (about 2-3 miles) in 100 degree heat in order to attend! Bro. Fulmer and family plan to be in Hope this week to look for housing. We are tenatively planning a fellowship at seven o'clock on Thursday evening so area pastors and church members can get to meet him. As always, we thank you for your support and, most of all, for your prayers.
Sunday, July 26 -- We were disappointed last week when we learned that Bro. Fulmer and his family would be delayed in their visit to Hope to look for housing. Bro. Pat was injured in an automobile accident back in May and is still having some pain in his neck. He was to begin treatment for that injury this past Thursday, so he had to delay his trip to Hope for a while. Please pray with us that he will have a full recovery and that he will be able to sell his house and tie up the other "loose ends" in Alabama so he can get moved on the field in Hope. In the meantime, we continue to have good services with Bro. Mike Crane preaching in the morning service and Bro. Harris in the afternoon worship. Although we did not have any visitors this week, we did enjoy good services and good fellowship.
