OCTOBER REPORTS
Sunday, October 1, 2000 -- Our attendance remained steady for another week. Forty-five were present for Sunday School, while fifty-two attended the Morning Worship services. There were 3 first time visitors. We continue to praise God for His blessings and for the continuing stream of visitors.
The Arkansas Mission Builders will be with us once again this week. We are trying to get our building "in the dry" before the fall rains set in. We are grateful for these men who give so tirelessly of themselves to help missions and small churches in their building programs.
As always, we thank you for your prayers and financial support. And, it is our prayer that God would send His greatest blessings upon you all.
Sunday, October 8, 2000 -- We had another good Sunday at Landmark. There were 57 present for Sunday School and 63 attending the Morning Worship services. We were blessed with 6 first time visitors.
We want once again to thank the Arkansas Mission Builders and the work they performed on our building. When they left on Wednesday, October 4, the building was "in the black." With just a little more work (which our members and workers from some of our sister churches will perform) we should have it "in the dry" in a short time. The bids have been let on the roofing and bricking of the building, and we are getting more and more anxious about seeing the completion of this new facility.
As always, we thank you for your prayers and for your financial support. We pray that God may richly bless each of your for your efforts.
Sunday, October 15, 2000 -- Bro. Fulmer was away today, and Bro. Jackie Adams, former pastor of Bethel MBC in Ashdown, fill the pulpit for him. Bro. Adams reports 43 attended the Morning Worship services. The spirit of the people remains good as work continues on the new facilities. We thank you for your continued prayers and financial support. May our Lord's richest blessings be upon each one of you all.
Sunday, October 22, 2000 -- Attendance was up today at Landmark. Forty-eight were present for Sunday School, with 56 attending the Morning Worship services. There were three first time visitors. Work has slowed a little on our building. However, the next couple of weeks look to be full of activity. Please pray for the workers and their safety as they labor on the building. Also, please remember Bro. Sammy Kelesoma in your prayers. Bro. Sammy suffered a heart attack on Thursday of last week and will be undergoing bypass surgery. Bro. Sammy has been a blessing to Landmark since his salvation and addition by baptism. Please remember his family during this time as well. We thank you for your prayers and offerings. May God bless you all.
Sunday, October 29, 2000 -- Although attendance sagged a little, the Lord blessed with another addition today at Landmark MBM. A young lady came forward on her profession of faith seeking Scriptural baptism and to become a part of this work. Please pray for her, as we plan to baptize her next Sunday evening. Forty-one were present for Sunday School, and 49 attended the Morning Worship services. There were 3 first time visitors. Work on the building continues. The roofing has been completed, and we are looking to having the brick mason here by the end of November. We thank each of you for your prayers and support and pray God's blessings upon you all.

Fulmer will be speaking this Saturday at the annual meeting of the Southwestern Association, which will be held at New Prospect MBC in Lockesburg. Please remember him in your prayers. We thank you for keeping the work at Hope in your prayers, and we thank you for your financial support. We look forward to seeing many of you next month at the Arkansas State Association meeting in Forrest City. May God richly bless each one.

Sunday, October 10, 1999 -- Attendance continues to be good at Landmark Mission. Today we had 31 present for Sunday School, and 35 attended our Morning Worship, with two of these being first time visitors. Following the morning worship services, we held a baptismal service for the four who have come on a profession of faith and desiring baptism over the past few weeks. We give God all the glory for the great things that are happening at Landmark, and we appreciate your prayers and financial support. May God bless your faithfulness.

Sunday, October 17, 1999 -- Twenty-one attended Sunday School today, and twenty-five were present for our Morning Worship services. This number includes several visitors. Our attendance was down a little due to the illness of some of our regulars. We enjoyed a good meeting of the First Union Association, and we look forward to seeing you at the Arkansas State Association meeting in Forrest City. Please continue to pray for us and for the work here at Hope. Thank you for your support through prayers and offerings. May God bless each of you.
-
Sunday, October 24, 1999 -- Attendance was off a little today at Landmark. Thirteen of our regulars were absent, most due to illness. Eighteen were present for Sunday School, and twenty-six attended the Morning Worship. There were two first time visitors along with several returning visitors. Please remember Bro. Fulmer in your prayers. He has not felt well for the last week and will be going to the doctor tomorrow. Also, please remember Landmark in your prayers and, when possible, in your financial support. We thank you for your help, and may God richly bless you all.
-
Sunday, October 31, 1999 -- The Lord has blessed us with another addition at Landmark MBM. Over a year ago we reported that a lady had walked 2-3 miles in 100 degree heat to attend services. Today she came forward expressing a desire to unite with the mission on the promise of a letter. Other members of her family have also visited. Please pray for these that they will be submissive to God's will for their lives. Twenty-two attended Sunday School, and twenty-five were present for the Morning Worship. We look forward to seeing all of you this week at the Arkansas State Association meeting in Forrest City. As always, we thank you all for your prayers and financial support. May God bless you for your faithfulness.
1998 REPORTS
-
Sunday, October 4 -- How mighty, how marvelous, how wonderful is our God! The Lord continues to bless in the work at Hope. Although the Sunday School attendance of 17 was down a little from last week, the number in the morning worship services more than made up for it. We had a total of 30 in the Sunday morning worship! Bro. Fulmer reports that the mission members are excited by what God is doing in their midst and are anxious to make improvements to the building, both inside and out. We cannot thank our glorious Lord enough for His wonderful grace. Please remember the Fulmers in prayer this week as they will be returning to Alabama to close out the deal on the the sale of their house in Tuscaloosa. (This was supposed to take place last week but did not due to some delays in financing on the part of the buyer.) They will be making that final move to Arkansas later this week. If all goes well, Bro. Fulmer plans to attend the meeting of the Southwestern Association this next Saturday (the 10th) in Lockesburg, Arkansas. The next week we are scheduled to be with the First Union Association in their meeting at Morris MBC in Prescott. Thank you all for your support and prayers, and may God richly bless you for your part in this work.
-
Sunday, October 11 -- Attendance was down a little at Landmark MBM today. Still, we had a total of 19 in the morning worship service. Continue to pray for those who have visited, and those who have expressed an interest in joining the work in Hope. We are happy to report that the Fulmers are now moved into their house in Hope. The sale on the house in Tuscaloosa was completed last week, and Bro. Pat, Sis. Kay, and the family arrived on Thursday afternoon to start moving in. We are thankful to finally have all of them on the field. We attended the Southwestern Association meeting in Lockesburg, Arkansas this past Saturday where Bro. Fulmer brought a devotional and gave a report on Landmark Mission. We are planning, Lord willing, to attend the First Union Association meeting at Morris MBC in Prescott this coming Saturday (the 17th) and the Arkansas State Association meeting in November. We look forward to seeing our friends and supporters there. Again, thank you for your prayers and support of Landmark Missionary Baptist Mission in Hope.
-
Sunday, October 18 -- The Lord blessed us with 18 in the worship services today. Although that is down a little from the high (so far) of 30, we are not discouraged. We are looking forward to making a few visible improvements on the building and are still looking to get a paved parking area as soon as possible. Bro. Fulmer continues to visit and to invite people to attend the services of Landmark MBM. Last week he visited with a lady who is a member of an ABA church in Magnolia, Arkansas. She has recently moved to Hope. Pray that, if it is His will, that the Lord will lead her to Landmark. On Saturday, the 17th, Bro. Fulmer attended the annual meeting of the First Union Association, held with Morris MBC near Prescott, where he was elected to bring the annual message next year. We anxiously await the Arkansas State Association meeting in North Little Rock next month. We look forward to seeing many of you there. In the meantime, thank you for your prayers, words of encouragement, and financial support, and may God richly bless each one of you.
-
Sunday, October 25 -- We thank the Lord for His blessings. Attendance was back up at Landmark MBM today. Bro. Fulmer reports a total of 24 in the morning worship services. This number includes several visitors. One of those looks like a really good prospect. He is a member of an ABA church in the Hot Springs area and is moving back to Hope in the near future. Last week Bro. Pat made about 30 contacts; we ask you to pray for these and others he has visited, that they would desire to do God's will in their lives. We continue to need your support and, especially, your prayers. For those who will be attending the Arkansas State Association meeting in North Little Rock, we invite you to visit our display there. Once again, we thank you for all you have done, and may our glorious God bless you richly.
