Greetings to visitors, especially those from the Ships-Stamps Mailing List - I hope you find something to interest you.
The first part of this section is a table of images of special postmarks, some of which have been used on commemorative covers. I do not collect these covers, but I can virtually guarantee to obtain copies of the postmarks if you ask before the date. After the day of use I can only find copies in the philatelic market: this can be very difficult. I can also contact the organisation which produced the covers for for more information. Better quality images of the postmarks can be e-mailed to you*
The second part shows images of the Lighthouse stamps issued by Great Britain 24 March 1998, followed by details of special First Day postmarks used in association with this stamp issue. Information on the three aerogrammes issued the same day will be posted shortly.
