I forgot to mention, I'm descended from Phillip Peter Fine, who later went by the surname of Fent. Any Fent/Fines out there. I think Phillip Peter was a son of Phillip Peter Sr. and a brother of Vinenot, Peter and John. I need to do more research on this. Phillip was a resident, finally, of Fayette Co, Oh. He lived abt 1756/57 to 1835. He married Catherine Parrett, daughter of Frederick Parrett Sr.. Any fellow researchers along the same line? William

My husband is a descendent of John Fine, a brother to Peter Fine. John had brothers Vinet(alsospelled Wineot, John had Abraham, Abraham, Had, John, John had Vinet Alfonso, Vinet Alfonso, had William Monroe and William had Dennis Ray Fine who is my husban . We have traced this back by census records and by a book Over the Misty Blue Hills by Ruth O'Dell with the history of Coocke County Tennessee. She said that Peter, Vinet, John and thomas Sr. came to Cocke County in the early 1800 from Rhode Island.
