The following was taken from the 1752 Census for Ile Saint Jean (now called Prince Edward Island).

Francois Naquin, ploughman native of l'Acadie, age 48 years, he has been two year in the country, Married to Angelique Blanchard, native of l'Acadie, age 45 years. They have four sons and six daughters:

Jean Baptiste, age 23 years,
Francois, age 19 years,
Charles, age 14 years,
Joseph, age1 2 years,
Angelique, age 21 years,
Anne, age 18 years,
Marianne Nastazie, age 11 years,
Ursulle, age 7 years,
Tersille, age 4 years,
Marianne, age 2 years,
and Isaac Hebert, age 3 years, his grandson.

He had in stock, four oxen, two cows, three calf, three ewes, and five pigs.

It goes on to state that the land upon which they are settled is situated as in the preceding cases (see Ambroise Naquin). it was given to them verbally by Monsieur de Bonnaventure. On it they have made a clearing for the sowing of three bushels of wheat in the coming spring.
