A friend of mine sent me your link, I read your personal story about chronic pain and almost started to cry, because you described the last year of me and my husbands life. I hope that your husband is doing better. My husband broke his coxxcy bone a yea ago, and was found to have two herniated disks about 5 months later, now he's going to another Dr. who says he has one bulging disk and it's not "bad" enough to operate, he's been on pain meds for a year, and he's been in and out of bed too. He's an ele trician and this didn't happen at work, it happened sleigh riding. Next week his Dr. is going to try a cortisone shot to see if it is the tendons around the coxxcy bone, I'm keeping my fingers crossed. But I just wanted to thank you for your story. I'm now going to check out the rest of your site. Thanks again, Cathy

Absolutely loved looking through your homepage! I got your address from an email you sent to cleft-talk. I have a little 3 month old baby boy born with a U-shaped cleft pallet. He has Pierre Robin Sequence and the cleft pallet is one of the distinguish ng characteristics. I just signed on to Cleft-talk today, but am having some trouble with the address. See, I can't surf the net with my computer at home and so was using my husband's Mom's computer. So, when I signed up for the cleft-talk, it took on er address and not my own home address. I am still in the process of trying to get that changed, especially as she lives in AL and I in TX and we are going home tomorrow! Anyway, I'll be looking for email from you in the future to keep up on the family. Well, it's Christmas in Florida. Pretty strange, seeing Italian lights on palm trees. It takes some getting used to.
