Descendants of Mary Elizabeth Hackett Mary Elizabeth Hackett, daughter of James Henry Hackett (Guckian) and Catherine Hanley, was born on October 20, 1860, Monroe County, NY.1 On the 1875 NY State census, taken on June 24, Mary and her brother John, were living in Wethersfield, Wyoming Co., NY with their parents.2Catherine, Mary's mother, died sometime in September 1875.3 Mary was baptized at St. Patrick's church, Java, on October 16, 1875. Her godparents were John Michael Hacket and Helen Hacket.4The 1880 census shows Mary living in Wethersfield with her father, her sister Ellen and her brother John.5

Mary and Charles Augustus Graham, son of Hugh Graham and Margaret McKenner were married at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Warsaw, Wyoming County, NY on November 22, 1887. The witnesses to their wedding were John and Katherine Kuns [Kurs]. 6 Mary and Charles had eight children. Margaret was born in Warsaw in 1888. James was born in 1891 in Jamestown. Hugh was born in 1892 but not much is known about him. The Grahams were living in North Java for the births of Catherine Elizabeth (Bessie) in 1893 and Blanche in 1895. Agnes was born in 1900 and William in 1903 in Tully, NY.

Mary, Charles and the family moved to Cleveland, Ohio after 1903. The 1910 U. S. Census shows Mary and Charles living at 9008 Harvard Avenue. Charles and his sons James and Hugh were well drillers. Their daughters, Margaret and Bessie, were employed as clerks in a Dry Good store. The census states that Mary had given birth to eight children and seven were living in 1910. 7 Charles died on April 14, 1914 and Mary died on February 7, 1926. They are both buried at Calvary Cemetery, Holy Name Church, Cleveland.8
