Oh, my goodness!  This has been quite a week.  Whew!  We have a half-day of school tomorrow, and I have barely managed to stay focused enough to get to work and keep track of my keys. 

It all started last Friday when Ed called and said the building supervisor had called.  I really just burst into tears when he told me that we will have our final walk-through of the house on Dec. 22 and close the week after.  We have since found out that our OFFICIAL closing appointment is December 30th at 1:00. 

I went to the house on Monday night and took my video camera.  The video itself isn't that interesting because I was in a hurry (the kids were waiting in the car), but I captured a view of the house and it's uploaded here.  I still can't believe the house is supposed to go from THAT to DONE in only 2 weeks. 

Our big move is scheduled for January 8th.  (I have even been granted 2 days off work.  Yay!)  I will schedule the mail to switch over on January 1st, though, I think, and the utilities as well.
