Wow!  The concept of a blog is a good thing, but it's hard to maintain it.  One drawback was that getting online had been no easy, quick task...but now we have a high-speed Internet connection, so now that we've got that, and I've got a few minutes, here's my first update in about 2 months!

We officially moved into our new house on January 8th.  Now that's it's nearly March, the house is already looking lived in.  Gradually we are finding a place for everything, and it's very nice to have spaces....a selection of options when we think about where certain things should belong.

We have yet to put sod in the backyard, but we plan to do that soon.  We definitely need it so the kids can play without coming back in utterly filthy, and the dogs need to be able to run around.  They get to go out only when it's dry out there, but there's usually at least a couple of days per week when they can't.  Fortunately, there's a new dog park somewhat near us where we can take the dogs and they can run around without a leash.

In a couple of weeks, we have Spring Break, and I plan to get a significant amount done then.  There's a lot of organizing, sorting and pitching to do in the garage, and I've been waiting for nice, warm weather to do that...believe it or not, it hasn't been altogether warm around here lately!
