At this writing, our house is about a month away from being finished.  This picture was taken in the earlier part of November.  This week, Ed has a walk-through meeting with the building manager.  This is referred to as the pre-drywall walk-through (meaning that the installation of drywall is iminent).  Our brick is setting in front yard, insulation is in and all electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems are in place.  This is quite the hum-dinger of a Christmas present!  Everywhere around us are signs that Christmas is truly right around the corner, and Christmas has a very different feel this year!  All of the radio stations are playing Christmas music and people are putting up their Christmas decorations.  For me, I'll be writing our 30 days notice to the landlord and seeing just how much stuff I can get away with packing early (no, Rachel, you cannot unpack your horses now that they're packed).  We have only 3 more weeks of school until the Christmas break....whoa, I better quit before I freak out!  LOL  In truth, I'm handling it pretty well, considering...
