Ed met with Daneil, the building supervisor, today.  It is really looking like December ain't happening.  Frankly, I have felt that to finish by Jan. 1 was a very ambitious goal, but hey...that's what everyone involved was shooting for. 

December is still not totally out of the question, but to get December, every single thing that needs to happen between now and then would just have to hit, hit, hit.  Right now, things are at a standstill because sheetrock cannot be put up until the house passes 2 inspections.  I'm not about to complain about my house needing to pass muster!  After that, there's really nothing standing in the way, so we just need to good weather, etc.  Another difficulty is that, as Daniel was explaining, it's hard to get the workers to come back after Christmas...they often disappear until after New Year's.

Daniel worked to comfort Ed, so to speak, about the slow progress, but Ed rather jokingly said that this was by far the fastest building project he's ever seen in his experience.

One piece of good news..the exterior areas that will be painted were being primed today!
