"Holly"
Holly is a Cairn Terrier and was born in February of 1993. She came into my life when she was 4 years old. I got a call at work from a friend who knew I was a sucker for any animal that needed a home, and she said, "I'm at the groomers and there's a lady here who brought in her Cairn Terrier and she's trying to find a home for her - she said she just can't take care of her anymore." Needless to say, I said, "Bring her over!" As soon as I looked into those beautiful bright eyes, I just knew she would be a perfect fit into my home. Holly is a typical "terrier", full of life and lots of energy. She is now 11 years old and slowing down a bit. She's getting white around her face and has arthritis in her back legs, and sadly, her kidneys are not functioning like they should. She is still a beautiful little girl and has a life filled with love and excitement!
Holly likes to sit on the deck and bark at the neighbor's dogs, but she wouldn't hurt a flea. Her dislikes include bath time, although she is the perfect dog when it comes to grooming.
Holly now shares her life with her sisters Angel and Treasure, and her brothers Rusty and Dancer.
On January 28, 2007, little Holly lost her battle with heart and kidney disease. She would have been 14 in February. She was a precious member of our family and life is just not the same without her darling little face here with us.
Holly says, "Be kind to animals....all animals."
