In die Nomen Amen. I richard BUTCHER of the pish of North Bradley husbandman & cariere
being weake & sicke in body but of sound perfect   -------------(? Remembrance, thanks be ?)
to Almighty God do make & ordaine this my last Will and Testament in Manner & forme foll;
--vizt that is to say, Fyrste & prencipally I bequeathe my soule into the hands of
god my maker, trustinge by the myrcitty death & passion of his deare sonne Jesus
be saved in the world to come Secondly my will is that as my body is of the earth
yt is to be broughte agayne & buried in the Churchyarde of north bradley there to (await the )
generall Resurrection of all mens bodies when Christ my saviour shall come to Judge (the
living)
and the deade, wich will of myne I have caused to be written the 17th day -------------
AD (1619) in the Presence of Mathew JARVIS vicare of North Bradley aforesaid, John

Item: John and Elizabeth my 2 children 30 Li (pounds) each at 21, or the survivor to have it.
        Overseers to manage money till such time
        Executrix to bringe up children till then with meate, drinke, apparel
Item: Nan BUTCHER willed 10 Li by her grandmother, I make it 30 Li at marriage
         Overseers to manage until
Item: William BUTCHER (my brother) willed 30 Li by his mother
        Executrix to receive release for 30 Li, then William BUTCHER to have 20 Li from 
            Richard BUTCHER together with everything given him by his mother.
