This is the last will and testament of me, William ALLEY the elder of Leigh in the parish of Westbury in the county of Wilts, Shopkeeper. I devise and bequeath all the real and personal estate to which I shall be entitled at the time of my decease unto my son Thomas ALLEY absolutely subject nevertheless to the payment of all my just debts funeral and testamentary expences and also to the payment of the sum of ten pounds to each of my four children namely William ALLEY (the younger) Edward ALLEY Elizabeth DOWSON and Rose SMITH within twelve calendar months after mydecease and I appoint my said son Thomas ALLEY sole executor of this my will hereby revoking all other testamentary writings in witness whereof I have hereunder set my hand this thirteenth day of October one thousand eight hundred and eighty, William ALLEY. signed by the said testator as his last will and testament in the presence of us present at the same time who at his request in his presence and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witness's.
