DOTSON/HANSON FAMILIES

Mary Jane Hanson , daughter of James Hanson and Jerusha Smith, was born on 29 Oct 1839 and died on 16 Nov 1920 in Collin Co TX, at age 81. Mary married Issac Jefferson Dotson, son of George Jefferson Dotson and Sarah Smith, on 3 May 1856.

They had 14 children: Louise Parelee, Nancy Mary, Zora, Isaac, "James" Pinckney, Alice Jerusha, Anna, Etnettie Wealthy, Edney, Thomas, William, Charles Otto, Martha, and Mollie.

Louise Parelee Dotson was born on 24 Apr 1857. Louise married Gabe F. Warden. They had three children: Arthur, Oscar, and George.

Arthur Warden was born in 1874. Oscar Warden was born in 1876 in Texas. George Warden was born in 1878 in Texas.

Nancy Mary Dotson was born on 27 Oct 1859 and died on 24 Jan 1924, at age 64. Nancy married Sam Jones on 13 Dec 1874.

Zora Dotson was born in 1861. Zora married Ben Echols.

Isaac Dotson was born in 1863.

"James" Pinckney Dotson was born on 5 Jul 1864 in Blue Ridge, Collin Co. TX, died on 17 Mar 1938 in Uvalde, Uvalde Co., TX, at age 73, and was buried in Blue Ridge Cemetery

"James" married Leannah Helen Mckinney, daughter of Sam McKinney and Virginia, on 27 Dec 1885. They had seven children: Samuel Jefferson, Elmer Issac, Floy Ethel, Myrtle Edith, Lillian, Gladys V, and Clay McKinney.

Anna Dotson-[1950] was born in 1869. Anna married Tomas Charles Wyrick. They had one child: Garlin Wilburn.

Edney Dotson was born in 1872.

Thomas Dotson was born in 1873 in Indian Territory.

William Dotson was born in 1874.

Charles Otto Dotson was born in 1877 in Texas.

Martha Dotson was born in 1882.

Mollie Dotson was born in 1884.
