William Jefferson Hart born 1819 Sumner County Tennessee. Died Feb 1854. Collin County

Married Mary Smith daughter of George Washington Smith Feb 1836 in Jackson County Tennessee. 'Mary was born May 3 1818 in Kentucky.

W. J. Hart served two terms of duty during the Mexican War. He received a $25.00 bounty for the first tour and his widow Mary received a bounty for 160 Acres of land for the second enlistment.

William J. Hart and Mary Smith Hart had seven children.

Mary Susan Hart b 1844 Fannin Co Tx m Marcus Langham 2 Aug 1861

George Russell Hart b 7 July 1847 Fannin Co Tx d16 Sept 1928 McKinney Tx m Nancy Ann Simmons 10 Nov 1866

John Thomas Hart b 20 July 1849 Fannin Co Tx d 7 Aug 1916 Jack County Tx m Emily Mulder 21 Aug 1871

William Jefferson Hart b29 July 1853 Collin County d20 Mar 1927 Uvalde Co, Tx m Elvira Smith 22 Feb 1872

All of the marriages took place in Collin County.

Daniel Wright died in Little Rock Arkansas of measles during the Civil War.

Speculation is that Marcus Langham also died during the Civil war.

John Marion Wright was in the same unit as his brother Daniel

George Russell Hart was in the Home Guard during the war
