John Peter Utt

John Peter Utt was born in Carroll Co, VA December 6, 1837.  On May 21, 1857 he married Lucy Aldeman from Carroll Co, Va.   This family with their small child left Carroll Co July 1858 and arrived in Weston, Collin Co, TX October 1858.   The family moved to Farmersville, TX by 1860 where they farmed and raised their family of 10 children.   J.P.Utt’s family is found on the 1860 Census of Collin Co, TX as household #768.  John Utt died July 3, 1900 and is buried in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery Farmersville, TX.  Lucy Utt died June 29, 1919.

2.       Emma Catherine Utt Born March 23, 1862 Collin Co, TX Married A.M. Conner Died March 25, 1939 

3.        Mary E. Utt Born Oct 5, 1864 Collin Co, TX Married Thomas A. Nowlin Died January 23, 1940 

4.       George W. Utt Born April 23, 1867 Collin Co, TX Married Anna Belle Reece Died March 5, 1907 

5.       Lutitia E. Utt Born May 30, 1870 Collin Co, TX Married Gober Gibson Died January 1, 1933 

6.       Florence D. Utt Born January 30, 1873 Collin Co, TX Married U.S. Davis Died September 11, 1913 Vernon, TX

7.       Ida L. Utt Born March 15, 1875 Collin Co, TX Married Frank McBride Died January 16, 1901 

8.       John Marvin Utt Born January 8, 1877 Collin Co, TX Died June 19, 1879 

9.       Mattie Etta Utt Born April 23, 1880 Collin Co, TX Married William Gideon Grayson Died 1949 

10.   Lottie Irvilla Utt Born March 9, 1884 Collin Co, TX Married Theodore Click Died January 12, 1935
