CHILDREN LUTHER WALLACE ENJOY FAMILY REUNION

The children of Luther Wallace and friends of the family gathered in beautiful Finch Park at noon Sunday for their annual family reunion which was being held in the park for the first time. Mr. Wallace, whose wife passed away several years ago, resides about six miles East of McKinney in the Viney Grove community.

Relatives and friends were present from considerable distances not only from Texas, but also from Oklahoma. At noon a bounteous luncheon was spread after which an informal family gathering in the cool shade of the park was held.

Those present included Mr. Wallace’s five sons and three daughters.

Those present were: Roland Wallace, wife and baby son, Darwain of Longview; Melvin Wallace and wife of Longview; Mr. and Mrs. G. C. Reed and two daughters and husbands, Mr. and Mrs. And Mrs. Robert Askew and Mr. and Mrs. A. D. Lee, all of Littlefield, Texas; Oran Wallace and daughter, Mary Catherine of Howe, Texas; Mr. and Mrs. Roddy Simmons of Aylesworth, Oklahoma; Mr. and Mrs. Roscoe Wallace of McKinney; Mr. and Mrs. Ike Reed and daughter, Miss Gertrude of the Viney Grove community; Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Davis of McKinney; Mr. and Mrs. Jack Johnson of Womble; Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Reed and daughter; Miss Mildred Wallace, at home with her father; Bill Perkins, friend of the family of Longview; Miss Della Atterubray of Aylewsorth, Oklahoma, a friend of the family and Miss Rhodie Reed of Dallas, a friend of the family.
