George A. Wilson, an early sheriff of Collin Co., came to his area in 1812 before it was a county and before McKinney was established. He married Harriett Kincaid July 15, 1855. She was the daughter of John M. Kincaid whose wife was Temperance Rattan. John M. Kincaid came to Texas in 1841. George A. and his wife had the following children: Almarine, John Jonathan, Elizabeth, Lucy, Jennie, Benjamin, Tollie, George M., Wallace, Addie, Mary, Annie, Temperance. Note: I don't know how many of these children lived in Collin Co. before 1900
