DAVIS CEMETERY - FARMERSVILLE

South of Farmersville in the east shore of Lake Lavon in the Spring Hill community

Cemeteries of Collin County, Texas, by Joy Gough

This land belongs to relatives of Jeanette Bland of the Collin County Genealogical Society. The cemetery is supposed to contain one large stone and a few baby stones. We were not able to find the cemetery. There are relatives around who may know where the cemetery is on the property.

As reported on page 104 of Volume II of COLLIN COUNTY CEMETERY INSCRIPTIONS, "Mrs. J. W. (Thyrza) McIver, Farmersville, Texas, is a contributor of this information." She has since deceased. Leslie Kimzey of Farmersville wrote a letter telling about the cemetery and drew this map of its location and said Mrs. McIver owned the land.
