Sleepy Hollow
March 5 - Since these are the first items
from the above named community, the writer wishes to say that we are two and
one half miles south east of Plano near the Dallas county line, and in the
prettiest part of Collin, we think.
The late rain has been quite beneficial to
the farmers and gardeners since it put the ground in a better condition.
A barn belonging to J. B. Boggess who
lived two miles east of Plano, burned last night. Loss about $1,000.
Insurance not known.
Miss Reta Scott is teaching very
successful school at the county line district.
This community has lately introduced the
telephone line which marks a step of progress.
Will Bedell went to Dallas today to get a
supply of garden seed and early seed corn.
Miss Myrtle Carter is in Dallas having her
eyes doctored.
