  • Company K--Composed of personnel recruited primarily in Dallas and Fannin Counties.  Mustered into federal service on July 3, 1847.  Mustered out of federal service on April 30, 1848.
  • William FITZHUGH'S Company (First Service)--Composed of personnel recruited primarily from Grayson County.  Mustered into federal service on February 2, 1847.  Mustered out of federal service on February 2, 1848)
  • William FITZHUGH'S Company (Second Service)--Cormposed of personnel recruited primarily in Grayson County.  Mustered into federal service on February 2, 1848.  Mustered out of federal service on February 1, 1849.
  • Andrew STAPP'S Company--Composed of personnel recruited primarily from Collin County.  Mustered into federal service on July 24, 1846.  Mustered out of federal service on February 2, 1847.
