NOTE: This is one of my favorite deserts. Its rich, and great eaten as is or with vanilla ice cream over it... in an ala mode fashion...


CHERRY-APPLE CRISP

1 Can (21 oz) Apple pie filling
1 Can (21 oz) Cherry pie filling
2 Cups flour
1 1/2 Cups brown sugar
2 tsp Apple pie spice or cinnamon
1 Cup butter or margarine

Mix apple and cherry pie fillings together in a bowl.
In another bowl, mix the flour, sugar, spice and butter. Work
this mixture together with your fingers until crumbly. Line bottom of pan with 1/2 of crumbly mixture.
Cover this with cherry-apple filling. Spread remaining crumbly
mixture over it.

Bake 30-35 minutes or until brown.
Temperature 350 degrees
Serves 8.
