My Red-Headed Challenge

Now doesn't this look like the sweetest little angelic person? My daughter, Kirsten, at this age, could charm any little old man in the grocery store, and she collected them every time we went to shop....they came like sheep to the slaughter...bearing gifts and silly smiles. She could wrap just about everyone right around her finger and this was probably her undoing!

My daughter, in my eyes, is still a work in progress and so this page will continue to be as well. She walks to a different drummer than I, and we rarely see eye to eye on an issue. Now, I am not one of those people who believes that MY way is the only RIGHT way and I enjoy a LITTLE opposition every now and then....but there are some things in life that should be basic beliefs and that is where our relationship starts to break down. There is one thing that we can agree upon and that is that the little boy she has brought into the world is the cutest thing south of the Mason-Dixon line. She is also experiencing some of the trials that I had to endure with having a very independent, out-spoken offspring. (She says I wished his personality on her....I say he's a chip off the ole block.)

And so I continue to hope and pray that she will soon find a way to live her life that will be productive for all involved...that she will begin to see a path that needs to be taken...that we can begin to see at least SOME things in the same light.
