Surnames: FERGUSON

My name is Mark FERGUSON, I am interested in finding out my heritage. I am from Hayward, CA. Any information you could mail me would be helpful in my search. The hints I can give you are as follows:

1. I am the son of Edward Gordon FERGUSON Jr.
2. My grandfather was Edward Gordon Sr.
3. My great Grandfather was Art FERGUSON and My Great Grandmother was Jesse FERGUSON.
4. The FERGUSONS I know of are from Opilika, Alabama.

That is all the family history I know and may shed some light on why I am looking for more informations regarding my haritage. As I said before any information you can provide is helpful and greatly appreciated.
