I picked a Christmas print with a lot of variation.


  • Then I cut 8 identical pieces from the same spot in the fabric

    Then I cut it into 8 equal triangles, making sure it was all lined up. I used straight pins thru key points in the design to be sure I was lined up.

    Next I cut the background fabric in the same size triangles.

    then I cut the strips as it called for, and assembled each identical triangle in a circular shape.

    Here are all 8 finished blocks. Notice how each block looks a bit different when you put the triangles together, depending on where it fell in the original fabric.



    When I get it all sashed and assembled I will post a pic of that too. Sorry it took awhile to load, the pictures were kinda big.
