Tax Increases....

Congress talks about "tax increases", but increases to whom?

If government receives a dollar of extra tax, this is extra tax for government, and represents a tax increase. The taxpayer who pays the extra dollar of tax also experiences a tax increase.

So it doesn't matter who the object of "tax increase" is, because, a tax increase for the taxpayer is also a tax increase for Government.
