BIOGRAPHY:
John George Dolder of Callender passed away Friday, November
13, 1931, at the age of 67 years, 1 month and 29 days. He was born in Alsace,
France September 15, 1864 and came to this country when he was about four
years of age, with his father , five sisters and two brothers. His mother
died and was buried in France.
The family located in La Salle County, Illinois, where
Mr. Dolder grew to manhood and was married to Annette Dolder August 31,
1892 at Racine, Wisconsin. To this union were born three children, Gilbert
George and Snowden Howard of Callender and Gladys Adele Fishel of Lehigh,
Iowa.
Mr. Dolder moved to Iowa with his family in December 1905,
where he has since resided. He has a wide circle of friends who will
mourn his departure. Besides his wife, children and one brother, Louis
Dolder of Gilmore City, he leaves four grandchildren, Cleo and Lyle Dolder,
Yvone Fishel and Edward Dolder.

Illinois, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Bass of Jolly, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Fishel and family,
Mrs. M. E. Fishel and Mrs. R. O. Richter of Fort Dodge.
