BIOGRAPHY:
Lee J. Bollock
Lee J. Bollock, son of John and Ida Reaser Bollock, was born June 18, 1891, in Wyanet, Ill. Here he grew to manhood and attended the schools of that community. In 1905 he moved to Manson, Iowa, and shortly afterward came to Humboldt county where he engaged in farming near Unique community.
September 22, 1915, he was united in marriage to Minnie Dolder at Gilmore City, and they established their first home on a farm near Humboldt. To this union was born one daughter, Viona. The family moved to Fort Dodge for a short period before coming to Humboldt in the year 1925 where he has since been engaged in the oil business.
He was a member of the Methodish Church in Humboldt and a past Noble Grand of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows.
Lee passed away at the age of 65 years and 16 days at the Mercy Hospital at Fort Dodge July 4. He is survived by: his wife Minnie; his daughter, Mrs. Leonard Nelson of Grand Forks, N.D.; his granddaughter Jacqueline Ann; two brothers, Roy of Lincoln, Calif., and Edgar of Rockford, Ill. and one sister, Mrs. Carl Powers of Pocahontas. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one sister.
