Chicago auction/convention reflections while the photos are loading.

It was a "HOT", fun, busy weekend. We had a great time in Chicago. It didn't start out so good though because it took us 2 hours to find the HL warehouse. Nobody seemed to know where Fusion Way was so we went to the City Hall and they gave us good directions. So here we go out to this place way out in the boonies with a frontage road that is more for one lane than 2.

We are inside now and it is nice in there anyway. Everything is set up so it is easy to find and there were some great bargains. I got the Anahein Con video as soon as we got there. Anyway it was great seeing and listening to Gillian and Donna with just a small crowd.

They brought along some of the dailies so we got to see lots of scenes that weren't in the epis which was really cool. Anthony De Longis and his partner Bob Chapin did a great job demonstrating swords and bullwhips. I was sitting in the second row so I wouldn't miss anything. I chatted with both of them a bit which was impossible to do at Anaheim and I took what I hope are some good shots.

I have to get some of them on my page if they turn out okay. I also got a new catalog, and a cool pic of AP with an autograph and number. The new catalog is just jewelry. Some of the pieces are really beautiful.

In another Highlander related matter, I wrote to WGN TV of Chicago asking the status of "Raven"... the following is the reply they sent:

Our contract was with "Highlander: The Series," not with "Highlander: The Raven." Thanks for writing and watching. George
