April Annoyances

April has arrived, on the scene, once again!
Time to take out your tax forms and shaky pen!
I've paid all my taxes and I'm feeling so poor!
Taxes and death are the only things for sure!
Must give an honest account, of yearly allowance,
The Government demands ever-increasing amounts,
Until our Bank Account is ready to bounce!!
I really don't object to paying my fair share,
But, exorbitant amounts are so very unfair!
Taxpayers are paying, for costly errors and greed,
Just too many Political Monsters to "feed"!!
Like well-behaved zombies, we allow possession,
The Tax lines look like a funeral procession!!
Our pocketbooks bleed, from this Government touch!
Giving and giving, until it hurts too much!!
Wasted time and funds, on forms too complicated!
So Government can confuse and feel exonerated!!
It would seem too simple, to give just one Math equation,
A percent of the total, free from schemes and abrasion!
But, a less complicated way would never please,
The liars and cheaters, we all must appease!
And all Politicians would have to pay their share,
No special tax breaks, that are not really fair!
They promise to cut taxes and what do they do?
They hike their own pay and give the bill to you!
We know, that they are not in Politics, to help any of us!
These arrogant, ambitious people...we never can trust!!
No wonder April brings showers, gloom and cloud!
Like all Canadians, it is shouting out loud,
"From financial harassment, we all need relief!"
"Our Canadian Government gives nothing but grief!!"
