Having breakfast in bed, is really fun!
Sometimes shared, by another one,
A dog, named Sandy and a kitten, too!
Our cat, Muffin, had quite a few!
I have the sniffles, must stay in bed!
I've got crayons....my favourite is red!
My pets are polite, they wait to say "Grace",
They know it's important, by the look, on my face!
Buffy loves oatmeal and Sandy likes toast,
But, I'm first! I will eat the most!!
Mother won't mind, if I give some away!
"It's good to share things!" is what she will say!
So, dear God, I thank you, for my pets and food,
I'll try to be helpful and never be rude!
Take care of Sandy and all the kittens, too!
I know, that you will...cause it's what God can do!
Thank you, for them....and thank you, for ME!
Thank you, for letting us be here......all three!
