D-DAY

My friends in the raft....their thoughts easily read!

For in a few hours....many of us would be dead!"
 

It matters not what side you are on,

When fathers, brothers, friends are gone!

Never again to enjoy a new dawn!

To live a full life, or sing a sweet song!

Those who dictate another's cruel fate,

Arrive for praise and handshakes too late!

Forceful aggression, we must banish forever!

BUT.....is the human race this clever?
