FELINE'S FAITHFUL POSITION

Black and bold...high on a stack,
Of books, that were not meant for that!

But, he is oblivious, to his own faults,
Likes high places, next to the flower pots!

And if a tiny mouse should happen to come by,
He will quickly open one alert, little eye!

Your frightened scream will also announce,
And with one leap, he will suddenly pounce!

Rest assured, it's the last of that mouse!
Not too many thrive, in your cat-dwelling house!

Like a sentry, standing at the palace gate!
You might think, that he's sleeping,

BUT, HE IS QUITE AWAKE!

Nothing escapes him....he is faster than sound!
It's so good to have such a "Fast Cat" around!

And if you are kind, both day and night,
That cat will not stray far, from your sight!
