happy Happy Days

Gifts from God, come in many ways,
Things to please, all of your days!
Food, for sustenance,
Fire, to keep you warm!
Many things, to keep you from harm!
Baskets filled, to overflowing!
Little children's eyes, now glowing!
Laughter and fun, when they play,
Making everyone a happy day!
Tiny shoes, that put mud, on the rug,
Soon forgiven, with a gentle hug!
Sticky fingers, on the door and chair,
Toys and clothes, most everywhere!
Broken things and sometimes tears,
Kisses wash away all fears!
At the end of the day, off to bed,
Dreams come soon, after prayers are said!
