Our  World

We wouldn't need rules,
If we did what was right!
There'd be no need for prisons,
If we learned not to fight!
No need for judges or a lawyer's fee!
No locks on doors....not even a key!
No policemen, watching for crime!
No cruisers needed, time after time!
We'd help neighbours and protect life!
There'd be an end, to all greed and strife!
Our god wouldn't be money, you see,
But, a better world......
Where ALL people are FREE!
There'd be no litter, for we would care,
No poverty....because, we would share,
Families would live in perfect harmony,
With happiness, peace and security!
Parents would love children and always be true,
Children would respect and learn what to do!
We'd have healthy lives, so we could live,
For many years and also give,
Not just words or some small token!
But, wonderful promises, that are NEVER broken!!
Selfishness...greed...lust and crime!
All would vanish, in a very short time!
Wars would be a thing, of the past!
Peace and Love would always last!!
With Wisdom and Knowledge, to enhance and charm,
No one on earth, would come to harm!
If we can fly, to the moon and back, again,
Why can't we solve, such earthly pain?
Money is spent, on such foolish things!
Drink, drugs and all, that corruption brings!
A "Me First World"s expensive, you see,
Not a good place, for us to be!!
