Big, blue eyes, so trusting in me!
Button nose...lips like a cherry!
Rosy cheeks, due to frosty weather!
Fun in the snow, playing together!
Soft, blond hair, like silken thread!
Dainty darling...now, a story unread!
Ready to face, life and become,
Someone unique, someone from,
Heaven's nursery, where the angels form,
Sweet, little children, not yet born!
Innocent and pure, ready to see,
All of life's wonderful symphony!
What will you be, now that you're here?
Will others be kind, so you'll never fear?
Will you stay, just as you are?
Or will you be selfish and want to go far?
The world is waiting, for you to take your place!
Waiting and watching....do not disgrace!
Be an example, of all that is good!
Prepare for the future....do as you should!
Study and learn, so you will be wise,
Open the door to your heart and find a surprise!
Your bright eyes, will sometimes have tears,
Hopefully, you'll be joyful, most of your years!
