reincarn Sir....Reincarnated!

There you are, in your fluffy, black coat!
Curled up, with your toes tucked under!
Like a ball, of black wool, by my kitchen door,
Why do you stay? I do wonder?
Have you eaten your fill and now stand on guard?
In case any others come into the yard?
Are you just watching me, with those big, round eyes,
That follow my steps and look so very wise?
You are exactly a replica of "Sir"!
But, now in cold weather, you've extra fur!
Your great-great-great grandfather came,
>From a neighbour's barn, just down the lane!
Old Henry tucked him, into my boot, that day,
I couldn't resist him....there just was no way!
His eyes were closed, from a serious infection,
It took medicine and vitamins, after this detection!
All of his brothers had died long before,
I couldn't just leave him, with his eyes so sore!
So, I brought him home and he became,
A lovely, sleek feline, with "Sir" as his name!
Too small, to face the wild's confrontations,
Now, here you are, after many generations!
"Sirs" offspring have survived, all of life's battles,
You are alert! Can sense when death rattles!
I'll not try to tame you, but I do delight,
To see you so near....you're a wonderful sight!
We'll all co-exist, here on my peaceful hill,
I'll always care for you....you know, that I will!!
