The Saguenay River Flood

Last year......a flood! Torrential rain!!
Dams gone!......Homes are lost again!!
Seven people died! No wonder friends cried!!
Her husband and home just disappeared!
A dreadful disaster, that everyone feared!
Reconstruction now, but heartbreak everywhere!
Canadians respond, because they do care!
History destroyed....nothing's  the same!
Even each town.....needs a new name!
Helping these people, will bring HOPE anew,
We are all Canadians! What else can we do?
In times of distress, we must all pull together,
Shows the best in us, during "stormy weather"!!
