WEIGHT in SPACE

I've got good news, to chase away your frowns!
If you move to Pluto, you'll just weigh six pounds!

But, going to the Sun, is not a good idea.....you see,
For there, five thousand pounds is what you would be!

On Neptune, you would weigh just l.2 times more!
It would be almost the same...so no need to keep score!

Gravity affects all of your movements in space!
An Earthly, ten inch jump could be replaced!

With a fifty inch jump, on Mercury....but, then...
On the boiling Sun, you couldn't even jump ten!!

Saturn is fun! You could jump seventy inches high!
And on Pluto....three hundred inches!! My! Oh, my!

Here we would need special springs, on our feet!
How funny we'd look, as we hopped down the street!

A sixty inch jump, on the Moon, might seem impossible!
If we tried it on Earth, we'd end up in the hospital!

Up on the Moon, we would feel just like a feather,
But, I prefer to stay here, where we are all heavier,
TOGETHER!
