WHY?

Tens of thousands struck down in battle!
Why?

Along ruined streets, the "Death Carts" rattle!
Why?

Young sons dying, midst the rubble!
Why?

Leaders creating this "Satanic Trouble"!
Why?

When will we learn, from past mistakes?
Common Sense and Unselfishness are what it takes!

GOD must cry and feel such shame,
When HE looks at us, with our blackened name!!

Lust for Power destroys others....and YOU!
It's such a ridiculous thing to do!

Being content and helping your neighbour,
Would do this world, a very huge favour!

If I were in charge, of the world, for a day...
I'd outlaw Destruction, in every way!!

We'd put our dollars, to better use!
There'd be no more insane, wartime abuse!

Peace would reign forever, then.....
And I could discard my angry pen!!!!
