The problem is usually misconception about the breed and what its going to do to their dog, child etc,etc, am on my second bullie and I have three children. I am very comfortable with my dog and my children but some people are not. Shawnie has more of the bull terrier traits and at times can be quite stubborn. She turned 3 years old on May 15th is a true member of our family. She loves our wo daughters and is very protective. As loveable as she is, many people are very intimidated by her appearance and therefore do not take the time to get to know her. This is a great page and hope to visit again soon.
