GENEALOGY

Carter Braxton, signer of the Declaration of Independence, is the grandson of Robert "King" Carter. My great-grandmother, is Emilene Braxton JOHNSON. I am trying to find a link between her and Carter. I have found tons of info on the Carter side of the family which leads into other surnames such as HARRISON, LUDLOW, LEE, etc. One Carter (Anne Hill Carter) is the mother of General Robert E. LEE! I have a great love for these people and have an appreciation for those who fought for freedom from England.
